Dr. Amara Estrada is a Professor and Associate Chair for Instruction at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She serves as the college's interprofessional education director with the university's Office of Interprofessional Education. A Distinguished Fellow in the National Academies of Practice, she has published research about interprofessional education in veterinary medical education. Dr. Estrada is also a leader in veterinary education through her service on the American Association of Veterinary Medicine Council of Education. In addition to her work in veterinary education, Dr. Estrada is a highly accomplished veterinary cardiology researcher.
