Dr. Allison C. Augustus–Wallace serves the LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO), School of Medicine (SOM), Department of Medicine, and Dean’s Office of Diversity and Community Engagement (ODCE) as an Associate Professor-Research & Director of Undergraduate Academic Pathway Programs for Diversity. Through leadership responsibilities, she works to promote greater educational access, to increase the presence of historically excluded and marginalized groups of people in medicine and biomedical research, to promote health equity and improved health outcomes of marginalized people. She has been engaged with IPE for the last six years, and currently serves as one of its Faculty Graders.
