Alison Caballero is a recently retired associate professor and forner director of the Center for Health Literacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She provided health literacy instruction for multidisciplinary health professions students and for health communicators across the country. Her work in making health information easy to understand and use” included overseeing research, plain language materials development, and organizational health literacy consulting.
