Dr. Abby Parish is associate professor and coordinator of educator development at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is interested in curricular innovation and learner-centered teaching and has redesigned several courses using instruction optimized for hybrid and online formats. She currently teaches MSN core courses, DNP statistics, and DNP nursing education electives. Dr. Parish maintains a clinical practice as a nurse practitioner in the long-term care/post-acute care setting. She has published articles and given national presentations on clinical topics including osteoporosis, frailty, polypharmacy, and Parkinson’s Disease.
